Hey, I'm Jakub. I build backend systems that move fast and don't break. By day,
I'm deep in PHP/Symfony land working on trading platforms, dashboards, and automation
tools that handle serious load. By night, I'm tinkering with side projects — usually
something involving AI, trading bots, or finding new ways to overengineer simple things.
Based in Prague, remotely everywhere. Always happy to talk about clean architecture,
market microstructure, or why your Docker container won't start.

Self-hosted, privacy-first personal management platform that securely organizes tasks, notes, calendar events and email workflows. Not a simple todo app — it's a central control panel for personal data designed to replace scattered tools with a single private system.
Check it out on GitHubI build a lot of stuff I can't share publicly — real-time trading interfaces, market data visualizations, and automation tools. These projects teach me the most but live behind NDAs or private repos.
Always happy to discuss the technical details in person.
Started programming with Java. Learned OOP, data structures, and the basics of software development. Built console apps and simple desktop tools. Discovered that semicolons matter — a lot.
Switched to PHP and fell in love with web development. Built my first real web apps, APIs, and learned about MVC architecture. PHP made it easy to ship things fast — and I shipped a lot.
Dived deep into Symfony framework. Learned about clean architecture, Doctrine ORM, and building scalable backend systems. Started working on enterprise projects and trading platforms.
Got into trading infrastructure. Built dashboards, real-time data pipelines, and automation tools. Learned that milliseconds matter and the market doesn't forgive slow code.
Currently exploring ML for trading and building AI-driven automation. Launched Pryvora — a self-hosted personal management platform. Also drinking way too much coffee and overengineering everything.
Got an interesting project? Want to discuss trading systems or AI?
Or maybe you just figured out why your Docker container won't start and want to celebrate?
Either way, I'm here.
